NASA USLI 2023 Competition
The project guidelines were released in August 2023 and can be found here.
NASA USLI 2022 Competition
Named after Rose-Hulman alumnus Abraham "Abe" Silverstein, Project Silverstein was Rose Rocketry's first competition season. The project: launch, locate, and safely recover a rocket upon landing in a gridded field without the use of GPS. Although the team didn't get to compete in Huntsville, we learned many valuable lessons when it came to building a 13-foot tall rocket!
Rose Propulsion Laboratory
Initiated for the purpose of competing in future Collegiate Propulsive Lander Challenges (CPLC), Rose Propulsion Laboratory (RPL) actually started off as a senior design project in 2023, by building a liquid bi-propellant rocket engine and a test stand! RPL aims to provide unique opportunities for Rose-Hulman students by enabling student-led projects in aerospace propulsion technologies.
